Snow Storm Summary 02/13/20
Although it feels like the winter should be almost over, it is really just getting into the snowier part of the season for the St. Louis area. Hopefully there will be fewer little ice events to come. This week on Wednesday the temperature was reasonable for the season, but Thursday came with bitter cold.
In the early morning hours on Thursday the temperature was above freezing with light rain in the area. By 5 am the temperature began to fall quickly and the rain changed over to very light and intermittent snow. The paved surfaces were starting to dry, but anything that was still wet was frozen by 6:30am. We visited your property and found that the lot was frozen or was expected to freeze which would create dangerous conditions. We treated the lot as necessary to ensure safe conditions would continue through the morning.
